What Happens When My Child Becomes Ill At The Facility?

Daycare Ditmas Park treats children’s well-being very seriously, so in case a child gets sick and has any of the following symptoms: fever, diarrhea, vomiting, rash, and/or severe coughing – parents will be contacted immediately and must pick up their child from the center within an hour. 

What Happens If My Child Misbehaves During Instructional Time?

We do no longer accept the use of punishment. Our  techniques consist of children’s education, which facilitates them examine the wrongs and manage their behaviour. This approach redirects any behavior that is not right by allowing the kid to have some quiet time in the group while still undertaking learning activities.

If My Child Requires Medication, Will A Staff Member Be Able To Administer It?

We cannot and will not administer any medication, over the counter or prescription. We will only administer first aid as needed, along with topical antibacterial ointment.

When Are Payments Made?

Payments are due on the first of each and every month. Just in case of need we are in a position to furnish a five-day extension for repayments made fully,after the fifth day you will be charged a late price of $5 per day until price is received.

How Qualified Is The Staff At Little Scholars?

All our teachers are licensed in early youth schooling. Our lead teachers have advanced degrees and licenses in childhood schooling. All our teachers’ assistants have yearly education certificates  as mandated by  NYS DOHMH.

What Do You Do In An Event Of An Emergency?

Depending on the type of emergency, parents will be contacted as quickly as possible. They will be notified as to the type of emergency and expected to proceed in the matter in a helpful and attentive manner.
